Danielle Olivera Responds to the Claim That She Still Has Feelings for Ex Carl Radke

Could this be the real reason why Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard have been having friendship issues on Summer House Season 7?

In the final moments of the April 17 episode, Danielle and Lindsay's now-fiancé, Carl Radke, decided to have a "long overdue" chat about what's been going on in their friendship. The episode concluded before Carl and Danielle could resolve their friendship issues, but the two will continue their talk on the April 24 episode.

In a preview for the new episode, which you can check out above, Danielle explains that she is rooting for Lindsay and Carl as a couple, but she is concerned that they are moving too quickly in their relationship. Carl had previously told Kyle Cooke that he purchased an engagement ring for Lindsay, which got Danielle worried.

"There's not an ounce in me that is against you guys as a couple," she says. "Please don't ever think in a million years that that is where this is coming from."

Carl then admits that he thought Danielle wasn't supporting them for an entirely different reason.

"OK, that makes me feel a s--t ton better, because I, deep down, was like thinking to myself like, '[If] Danielle has this big issue with me, maybe it's my past, maybe it's something in our relationship from long ago...'" Carl responds. Danielle, however, vehemently denies that she still holds any romantic feelings towards him.

In case you need a refresher, long before Lindsay and Carl were ever in a relationship, the latter Summer House O.G. "very briefly" dated Danielle in 2015.

"It didn't end well, but it is a laughable thing that anyone would think that I still have feelings for Carl," Danielle says in an interview on the episode. "That is insane."

She then explains that in addition to having concerns about how fast Carl and Lindsay's relationship is moving, she's also been feeling like the two are "cutting [her] out." 

"I would love the people who are closest to me to be checking in on me, Lindsay absolutely being at the top of that list," she continues, noting that she doesn't see boyfriend Robert Sieber often (the two have since broken up) and that being a start-up founder is stressful. "If we are going in separate directions, then let's manage those expectations."

Carl later acknowledges that it is probably "frustrating" for Danielle to have a different dynamic with Lindsay, and that he hopes that the two can get back on the same page soon.

Though Carl and Danielle walk away from their conversation in a better place, the same can't be said once Danielle decides to talk to Lindsay.
